성품  - Godly attributes

!. 열등한 태도와 우월한 태도로부터 보호 (Be protected from attitudes of inferiority or superiority)

(창세기 1:27) 27자기 모습을 닮은 사람, 곧 남자와 여자를 창조하셨다. 27So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (빌립보서 2:3) 3무슨 일이든지 다툼이나 허영으로 하지 말고 겸손한 마음으로 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기며3Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves

2. 권위를 존중하도록 (Respect authority)

(베드로전서 2:13) 13여러분은 국가의 모든 제도와 통치자와 관리들에게 복종하십시오. 그렇게 하는 것이 주님을 위하는 것입니다. 14관리들은 악한 일 하는 사람들을 처벌하고 선한 일 하는 사람들을 표창하라고 통치자가 보낸 사람들입니다. 13For the Lord’s sake, respect all human authority—whether the king as head of state, 14or the officials he has appointed. For the king has sent them to punish those who do wrong and to honor those who do right.

3. 자기능력 내에서 최선을 다하는 사람이 되도록 (Be the best student they can be)

(골로새서 3:23) 22종들은 모든 일에 자기 주인에게 순종하십시오. 단순히 사람을 기쁘게 하는 사람들처럼 눈가림만 하지 말고 주님을 두려워하며 성실한 마음으로 주인을 섬기십시오. 23무슨 일을 하든지 사람에게 하듯 하지 말고 주님께 하듯 성실하게 하십시오. 22Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. 23Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

4. 죄를 미워하도록 (Hate sin)

(시편 97:10) 10여호와를 사랑하는 자들아 악을 미워하라. 그는 자기 백성의 생명을 지키시고 악한 자의 손에서 그들을 구하시며10You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.

5. 자기 성질을 다스릴 수 있도록 (Control their tempers)

(에베소서 4:26) 26화가 나더라도 죄를 짓지 말고 해가 지기 전에 곧 화를 푸십시오. 26And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry,

6. 삶 가운데서 성령의 열매를 맺도록 (Exhibit the fruit of the spirit in their lives)

(갈라디아서 5:22-23) 22그러나 성령님이 지배하는 생활에는 사랑과 기쁨과 평안과 인내와 친절과 선과 신실함과 23온유와 절제의 열매가 맺힙니다. 이런 것을 막을 율법은 없는 것입니다. 22But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
